"What is the price of two sparrows - one copper coin? But not a single sparrow can fall to the ground without your Father knowing it. And the very hairs on your head are all numbered. So don't be afraid; you are more valuable to God than a whole flock of sparrows." (Matthew 10:29)
AARON'S STORY
Aaron Brooks was born on September 28, 2012, almost 15 weeks premature. From the very beginning, his little 2lb, 10oz body had a new battle to fight every day. Doctors told his parents, Tyler and Torie, that nearly everything that could go wrong, did.
Aaron fought hard for almost a month, but in time, the problems were too great. On Friday, October 26th, God welcomes home this little warrior.
Throughout this season, Tyler and Torie have praised God for His blessings, knowing He is in control. They look forward to the day when they will hold their son, knowing that he is made perfect and complete in the presence of God.
ABOUT THE SPARROW EP
"The Sparrow EP" is a collection of original music assembled by artists who are friends of Tyler and Torie.
We believe music heals. When hard times and feelings of brokenness come in life, nearly all of us turn to music. So for those of us who make music, it's only natural that we offer the help we can.
Because of the high costs of medical care as well as the expense of traveling to and from the hospital during Aaron's stay, the Brooks family's bills piled up quickly. The goal of "The Sparrow EP" is two-fold: first and foremost, to encourage, uplift, and point to God for strength in times of brokenness. Second, to help offset the cost of the bills and expenses the Brooks family has accumulated.
100% of the proceeds from this project will go directly to the Brooks family. None of the artists featured in this collection have been or will be paid for inclusion. The music is all donated to this project.
